Home Care Givers

I have been a home health provider for ten years and during that time I've tried to convince my Mother and Aunt to let me get some additional help, like a home aide service. Well to my suprise the service turn out not to do anything they said they would do. The case worker was rude shouting at my Aunt when she told Him that she was not going to do anything She didn't want to do. The OT (occupational Therpist)didn't any strecting for my Aunt's arms she mostly talked alot about whatwe"where going to do"and the nurse basily looked at the work I did and said it looked great and left. Also it took them two weeks to get a presription my Mom need for Her high blood presurre. So after two weeks of a lot of talk I fired them. The Manager that I spoke with about not coming back said She would report me to the state because that's what She had to do because my Aunt didn't want them giving her a bath. Sure enouch the State called said they had a complaint that I refuse my Aunt health care and needed to come out to our home to investgate. I was heart broken and while Nadine was there I continued to ask my Mother and my Aunt to forgive me for not listening to them about bring those people into their business. Does anyone have any horror stories about so call home care service providers and their state agencies for the homebound love Ones. Please write let me know I'm not a lone.
